BSE Metal Index gained close to 2 per cent -5 Feb 2015

After a day of volatile markets closed lower today. However, despite this strong global cues falling market. Midcap and smallcap stocks also showed a slight decline today. BSE midcap index is broken up by 0.25 per cent.

Capital goods, banking, power and auto stocks of heavy selling pressure on the job market. However, metal, realty and pharma stocks were on buyers. The BSE Metal Index gained close to 2 per cent.

The 30-share BSE index Sensex finally leading with 117 points, ie, about 0.4 per cent to close at 28 883 level. The NSE Nifty 33 points, ie, the 50-share index close to major weakness with 0.4 per cent is close to the level of 8723.7.
